You’re about to set off on your holiday, after finding some car games to keep the kids busy, making the preparations for transporting your dog , filling up with fuel and finding the best route to avoid the traffic . You might be asking yourself, ‘But where does my electronic toll payment badge actually work ? Can I use it at my destination?’
Whether you are already a customer of ours or not, whether you are a private individual or a professional , we can answer this question in this article!

You want to become a Bip&Go customer. But which electronic toll payment badge do you need for which country?

At Bip&Go, there are 2 types of electronic toll payment badge: the France, Spain and Portugal badge and the Europe badge , which works in Italy as well as the other 3 countries.

Whether you go for the France, Spain and Portugal badge or the Europe badge (which includes Italy, too), you can choose from several subscription plans, according to your needs.

For your journeys in France:

-    ' Pay as you go ', if you only drive occasionally : €1.70 for every month the badge is used and €0 the months the badge is not used.
-    ' Fixed price ', if you use the motorway regularly , charged at €16 per year.

Activation fees are €10 for the 3-country badge and €14 for the 4-country badge , to be paid in one go upon subscription to the ‘ Pay as you go ’ and ‘ Fixed price ’ plans.

For your journeys outside France:

If you opt for the France, Spain and Portugal badge and you drive in Spain and/or Portugal, you will pay €2.50 on top of your France subscription .
If you choose the Europe badge (which covers Italy) and you drive in Spain and/or Portugal and you drive in Italy, you will pay €2.50 for Spain and Portugal and €2.50 for Italy .
Regardless of the France subscription plan you choose, if you drive outside France frequently, you can opt for the annual badge , for €10 for each year you drive in Spain, Portugal or Italy.

For more information, take a look at the following page: Which electronic toll payment subscription plan should I choose?

You’re already a Bip&Go customer. But where can you use your badge, other than France?

If you are a professional , your electronic toll payment badge can only be used in France , not in other countries.

Meanwhile, if you are a private individual , it is easy to find out where your badge can be used:
-    Log in to your subscriber area and you will find all the details.
-    Look at your badge:

If the badge label does not carry the Via-t logo, it can only be used anywhere in France. If there is a Via-t logo , the badge can be used in France, Spain and Portugal.
If you opted for the Europe badge (white with a yellow holder), which was launched on 11 July 2019, you can use your badge in 4 countries : France, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Would you like to exchange your current badge for a France, Spain and Portugal electronic toll payment badge?

Simply log in to your subscriber area then head to the ‘My badges’ section and click on ‘Exchange for a Spain and Portugal badge’. This exchange will cost €12 .
Don’t forget to return the badge within 15 days, either at one of our 15 Bip&Go branches or by post.
