If the machine gives you a ticket:

Take the ticket (you will need it to identify the entry lane when you pay)

At the exit, go to a manned lane or a lane for all payment methods with an intercom, which will be signalled with this logo

Show your ticket and your badge to record the transaction.
If you do not have a ticket, use the intercom to request assistance and follow their instructions.
If this happens several times and your badge is correctly positioned on the windscreen, you should probably request a replacement. In this case, request a replacement under the "Replace a defective badge" section in your
subscriber area
.
Make sure
that there is no specific message telling you that your
subscription contract
has been temporarily suspended in your
subscriber area
.
